What is the difference between "literal" and "vibe" translation?
The literal translation is a direct, accurate translation of your text. The vibe translation takes the same meaning but rewrites it with personality — as if a native speaker with that persona actually wrote it.
What is Rephrase Mode?
When you set the source and target language to the same language, Vibe Translate enters Rephrase Mode. Instead of translating, it rewrites your text in the selected persona's style. Great for making your messages more casual, professional, funny, or flirty.
How many free translations do I get?
Free users receive a limited number of translations per day. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited translations.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Vibe Translate, and tap "Cancel Subscription". You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the subscription. If it doesn't restore automatically, go to the subscription screen and tap "Already Purchased? Restore".
Can I create my own vibes?
Yes! Tap the + button in the vibe selector to create a custom persona. Give it a name, describe the personality, and optionally make it shorter, more formal, or funnier.
How many languages are supported?
Vibe Translate supports 30+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, and many more.
Are my translations private?
Your translations are stored in your personal account and are not shared with other users. Translation text is processed by Google's Gemini AI for translation purposes only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my translation history?
Open the History screen (clock icon in the top bar) and tap the delete icon to clear your history.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please email us at alphabornapps@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 7 business days.
